About Student Information System Revitalization
LOCUS, the university’s Student Information System (SIS), is currently being overhauled and modernized. This version will offer students, faculty and staff a plethora of benefits, including enhanced data accuracy, streamlined course registration and improved academic recordkeeping, all while strengthening institutional capacity.
You can also expect a reduction of manual processes and more functional system usability. This revitalization effort also lays the groundwork for more effective wraparound student services.
We’ll have more information to share on specific improvements coming to LOCUS in Spring, 2026.
This modernization of the PeopleSoft Student Information System (SIS) will enhance data accuracy, streamline course registration, and improve academic recordkeeping. By reducing manual processes and improving user experience, this project aligns with Pillar IV of the Strategic Plan.
